Missions never ask you to break rules

No mission in Tokyo Mission Guide will ever ask you to:

• Trespass or enter restricted, closed, or private areas
• Break local laws or ordinances
• Disturb residents, especially in quiet residential neighborhoods
• Harass or pressure staff, performers, or other visitors
• Perform dangerous challenges, stunts, or risky climbs
• Ignore venue rules, queue rules, or staff instructions

If a mission ever reads as though it does, report it and we will remove or rewrite it.

Photography etiquette

• Obey no-photography signs — many temples, shrines, shops, and museums have them
• Never photograph inside private property without permission
• Ask before photographing people; never photograph children you don't know
• Do not photograph staff, performers, or workers who ask you not to
• Never take invasive, upskirt, or hidden-camera photos — this is illegal in Japan
• Post only photos you took yourself or clearly have permission to share

GPS check-in

Location is read once, only when you press GPS Check-in, to confirm you reached a mission destination. We do not track you in the background. Watch traffic and your surroundings instead of your phone, and skip a check-in whenever a place feels unsafe, crowded, or closed.

AI suggestions are not verified facts

Plans, mission ideas, translations, and pronunciation feedback are generated automatically and can be wrong or out of date. Always confirm opening hours, prices, reservations, transport, and venue rules with the official source before you go.
